SFX Worldwide Israel Opens as Blue Equity Taps Israel's Burgeoning Sports Economy
LOUISVILLE, KY, June 19, 2007 - Blue Equity, LLC (www.blueequity.com) announced today the expansion of its worldwide division with the launch of SFX Worldwide Israel. The new office, located in the city of Tel-Aviv, Israel's business and entertainment hub, will be led by Shlomi Pe'er. SFX Worldwide Israel's chief focus will create opportunities for clients in Israel and for sponsors looking to enter the Israeli marketplace as well as providing athlete representation and event management services. The office also looks to serve as a conduit between many of Israel's top athletes and the Jewish community throughout the world.
Blue Equity chose to launch an office in Israel because of the country's tremendous athletic talent such as client Shahar Pe'er, the #15 ranked female tennis player in the World. In addition, Israel has a rampant sports fan base, as illustrated by the numerous professional basketball and soccer franchises operating throughout the country. Despite this, SFX Worldwide Israel will be the first major sports marketing agency to be opened in the country.
